Trial and Error

So I started working on my next big idea for a pup.  I am hoping to be able to create a sugar skull inspired pup.  My first attempt at the face, while not a disaster, was a fail...

 

It turned out rather pretty but it didn't fit a pups face quite right, so I moved on to my second try....

Which in all honesty looks a little freaky right now but hopefully it will look right when it is put on the pup.
